Lee’s journey into Simplify Adulting started with a front-row seat to her own kids—Addison and Margaret—navigating the highs, lows, and “what now?” moments of adult life. It brought back memories of her own twenties—trying to look like she had it all together while figuring out money, career, relationships, and the pressure of growing up fast. What’s different today? Everything is louder, faster, and more complicated. The 24/7 digital feed, the pressure to perform, and the flood of choices can leave anyone feeling behind. Lee doesn’t claim to have all the answers—but she knows what it’s like to wrestle with life and keep moving forward. Her gift? Breaking down the big, messy stuff into steps that feel doable. One step at a time. One honest conversation at a time. That’s what Simplify Adulting is all about.
Addison has navigated a diverse career path, from auto tech and construction to office roles, demonstrating resilience and adaptability. In his early twenties, he faced an addiction that led to an overdose. This pivotal experience spurred a profound realization: he desired a different life, one that demanded resilience and the courage to tackle tough challenges. At Simplify Adulting, Addison brings this hard-earned wisdom, helping others understand that they too can overcome difficulties and thrive in the complexities of modern adulting.
Margaret has always been a high achiever, excelling as a top athlete and student through high school and into college, where she played D1 lacrosse. The relentless pressure of maintaining this high-performance level led to burnout, prompting a bold decision to switch colleges and relinquish her sport. This pivotal moment forced her to confront the question, "Who am I now?" By letting go of what no longer serves her and embracing resilience, Margaret has honed her ability to navigate life's challenges, continuously shaping her understanding of what she truly desires for her present and future.
